People communicate their existence to each other everyday - we talk, sign, wave, shrug, smile, email, telephone, hug, honk... all constant signals of a communal existence. 

When we pass through this life, we become part of the universal spirit that both exists in spirit and in the physical world in varying form.

This constant existential communication does not change though. No matter the form, universal spirit still communicates. It's simply the method that changes.
